THE GREAT HALLCHARLOTTE, NORTH CAROLINA
The regulars arriving at The Great Hall

THE GREAT HALL PRESENTS

The Regulars

Four adventurers. Three keepers. One very good dog.

THE PARTY

They always come back.

They met after answering the same fraudulent bounty. There was no treasure and no princess to rescue. They returned tired, broke and owing The Great Hall for a wagon, two windows and several doors. Their table has remained occupied ever since.

Portrait of Garrick Vale

Garrick Vale · Human Fighter

Confident. Capable. Usually wrong.

A former soldier from the borderlands, Garrick came looking for glory. He is loyal, fearless and certain every reckless plan will work. His plans have cost the Hall two windows, several doors and one spectacularly failed pit jump.

Portrait of Liora Dawnmere

Liora Dawnmere · Elf Cleric

Grace under pressure.

Sent from an ancient woodland temple to learn patience, Liora keeps the party alive while they test the limits of it. Her healing is dependable. Her sympathy is reserved for injuries that were not obviously self-inflicted.

Portrait of Torv Stonehand

Torv Stonehand · Orc Barbarian

Strong hands. Gentle heart.

Torv left his mountain clan to use his strength protecting others. He is thoughtful, courteous and deeply loyal. He prefers a peaceful solution, but remains prepared to use a chair when necessary.

Portrait of Orrin Vey

Orrin Vey · Human Wizard

Ancient wisdom. Recent mistakes.

Once a respected academy scholar, Orrin departed after an experiment left the faculty dining hall raining indoors for six months. He has studied nearly everything, including ceilings whenever Garrick begins explaining a plan.

KEEPERS OF THE HALL

The ones holding it together.

Portrait of Bram Holloway

Bram Holloway · Tavernkeeper

He has heard every excuse.

A former caravan guard, Bram traded the road for a tavern that somehow causes more trouble. He keeps the Hall steady, the mugs full and Garrick's growing tab in a ledger thick enough to stop an arrow.

Portrait of Tamsin Rook

Tamsin Rook · Tavern Server

Nothing escapes her notice.

Tamsin remembers every order, every face and every attempt to avoid the check. Patient, sharp and impossible to fool, she can silence the whole party by holding out a single piece of paper.

Portrait of Halvor Kettle

Halvor Kettle · Hall Cook

Complaints are not a seasoning.

Halvor has fed soldiers, merchants and adventurers who mistake hunger for courage. He rules the Hall's kitchen with a scarred ladle, a short temper and an absolute refusal to serve anything bland. Anyone questioning his methods is welcome to cook for the party instead.

Portrait of Aurelius

Aurelius · Hound of the Seventh Veil

Everyone calls him Biscuit.

Orrin summoned Aurelius while attempting to conjure a spectral wolf. The result was a golden dog who senses magic, curses and mimics—and can hear Orrin's thoughts. He responds most reliably to food.

TALES FROM THE TAVERN

Caught at the Hall.

Their misadventures are now part of the Hall's history—including the day Torv removed the front door and was told to put it with the others.

Garrick interrupts Liora and Orrin at the bar

Before the hangover

Garrick asked if a hangover could be cured before it happened. Liora suggested putting the drinks down.

Orrin teaches Torv to use a wand

The delicate art of magic

Orrin tried teaching Torv finesse. Torv assumed the wand was a small club.

Liora examines an arrow lodged in Garrick's armor

A promising sign

An archer shot Garrick. He took it as proof that she had noticed him.

The party discovers a mimic treasure chest

Definitely not a mimic

Orrin declared mimics rare. Torv prepared to sacrifice the tavern's good chair.
